Amanda Naismith supports New Forests’ carbon and forestry investments in the United States. Amanda has a background in natural resource management combined with nearly 10 years of forest industry experience. She is responsible for the operational and strategic plans for timberland assets and takes a leading role in developing and improving environmental and social performance of assets in compliance with New Forests’ Social and Environmental Management System. Amanda was the Chair of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Australia Board of Directors in 2019 and previously represented the plantation industry throughout the development of the Australian National FSC Forest Management Standard. Amanda has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Environmental Science) from Charles Sturt University.
