Ed Coulter is responsible for the coordination of biological and financial analytics supporting the acquisition and operation of forest and carbon assets for New Forests’ investments in the US. He contributes to investment and management decisions with biological, financial, and strategic analysis. Previously, Ed worked for a timber company developing strategies and appraisals for timberland acquisitions and dispositions and developing long-term and operational plans for forest management. He has also worked in timberland investment, consulting, and for the US Forest Service, giving him diverse analytical experience integrating silviculture, finance, and forestry operations. Ed holds a Bachelor of Science in forest management from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master of Science in forest economics from North Carolina State University, Raleigh.
