Eric Lewis-Clark supports New Forests’ forestry and carbon investments in the United States, primarily related to acquisitions and operations through spatial and quantitative modelling of forestry and carbon assets. Eric has experience in using LiDAR and other forms of aerial imagery for calculating forest biometrics and performing statistical analysis as well as field operations for carbon project development. Eric joined New Forests in 2018 after having supported field operations on New Forests’ carbon projects in Alaska in 2017. He previously worked as an analytical chemist before transitioning to science-driven analytics in the forest sector. Eric has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Binghamton University (SUNY) and a Master of Environmental Science from Alaska Pacific University.
