Megan Struthers leads the company’s portfolio-related analytical work globally. In this role she is responsible for managing the development and implementation of portfolio modelling for fund investments across the business including Australia, New Zealand, USA and Southeast Asia. She works closely with the New Forests teams in Singapore, San Francisco, and Sydney to support New Forests’ investments through the development and maintenance of fund models as well as contributing to fund strategies and marketing, client reporting, acquisitions modelling, and asset-level and portfolio modelling for existing funds under management. In her role Megan leverages her technical expertise and global experience, so that she and the team are able to deliver outcomes that resolve complex issues and provide high-quality analytics to our clients and their investments. Megan previously worked in forestry operations for New Forests and has 20 years of experience in timberland investment analysis, portfolio management, forest management, and research. Prior to joining New Forests in 2008 she held forestry portfolio management and client services roles in the US, Australia, and New Zealand. She has also held operations forester roles in the US with both an integrated forest products company and TIMOs. Megan has a Bachelor of Science in Forest Management and Resource Conservation from the University of Washington and a Masters of Forest Science from Yale University.
