Ian Allman manages New Forests’ finance and corporate functions, focusing on financial and management reporting, emerging issues, and finance systems. Since joining New Forests in 2012, Ian has successfully launched new internal systems to improve financial processes and accounting. He provides advice and support to property managers and portfolio companies for financial accounting systems in support of investment programs. Ian also works directly with external audit teams. Ian has over ten years of experience in commercial and chartered accounting in the UK and Australia. He is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and has a Master of Physics (1st Class Honours) degree from the University of Kent at Canterbury in the UK.
Elena Cardnell is part of New Forests’ finance team with a primary focus on the corporate accounting function. Elena is a qualified Accountant (Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) along with a BSc Hons in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of York. Prior to New Forests she worked in the National Audit Office in the UK for eight years.
Ian Cross is responsible for all fund accounting reports and related analysis. In this role, Ian works closely with the Investor Services team to assist in reporting to New Forests’ investors. Ian is also responsible for continual improvement in financial reporting, including standardising reports and improving reporting procedures to ensure they are completed efficiently and accurately. Ian has more than 10 years’ experience in fund and trust accounting. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of South Australia and he is currently completing his CPA.
Simba Ndemera is responsible for the accounting and finance functions of New Forests’ US business, including oversight of funds accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. Simba works closely with the US operational and corporate teams to improve financial processes and systems with a view toward scalability for future growth. Simba also manages the relationships with New Forests’ vendors who provide banking, audit, tax, and SEC advisory support. Simba has over 20 years of experience leading international corporate finance and accounting functions in the US, Europe, Oceania, and Africa. He has a Bachelor of Accounting Science degree from the University of South Africa.
Gregory Schtyk supports New Forests’ finance team with a primary focus on Accounts Payable. Gregory joined New Forests in the Sydney office in 2018 after three years in retail and B2B retail industry where he was in charge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Inventory Management. Previously Gregory worked in a fund investment company providing support services to daily funds operations and performance reporting, working with both investment managers and the director of funds. He holds a Diploma in Accounting and a Bachelor degree in Business from Southern Cross University, Sydney.
Nhi Tran is part of New Forests’ finance team, primarily responsible for managing fund-related accounting and assisting with client reporting. Nhi also manages relationships and performs financial analysis for both internal and external investors. She is responsible for evaluating, improving, and streamlining reporting processes. Nhi spent over 10 years in a Big 4 chartered accounting firm in Vietnam and Australia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Auditing and is currently completing her Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Adrian Williams is responsible for all finance, information technology, and business services functions of New Forests. He has oversight of New Forests’ finance and fund administration functions, including fund and client reporting, corporate financial reporting, and financial administration. Adrian is also on the executive team of New Forests, contributing to oversight and strategic planning for the business. Adrian works closely with New Forests’ funds management teams and directly with portfolio managers to oversee all funds accounting, ensuring it meets the company’s corporate standards and complies with all relevant legal and reporting obligations. Adrian has over 25 years’ experience leading finance, strategy, governance, risk, project, and operational teams and as a Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining New Forests, Adrian held a number of senior leadership roles in investment and funds management, real estate, media, and accountancy. Adrian has a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from the University of Technology, Sydney and a Post Graduate Certificate in Social Impact from the University of NSW, Sydney. Adrian is also a Certified Practising Accountant and Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Adrian also has a strong history of community involvement and board memberships across a range of not-for-profit and social enterprises in the arts sector and assisting Indigenous Australians to pursue careers in finance and accounting.
Vania Zatti is New Forests’ payroll officer and a member of the finance team. Prior to New Forests, she worked for an online retail company where she was responsible for all aspects of the payroll for more than 300 employees in Australia and New Zealand. For the past six years, Vania has been specialising in payroll regulations and processes. Vania holds a Diploma in Accounts and a bachelor degree in Business/Personal Assistant Services from Caxias do Sul University, Brazil.
